Himanshu Choudhary
Founder of model makerHimanshu Choudhary’s journey in the modeling and acting industry is truly inspiring, as he turned his personal experiences into opportunities for others. Born on January 30th, 1992, in Abohar, Punjab, and raised in Bikaner, Rajasthan, Himanshu’s early years were filled with challenges and learning. After completing his schooling, he moved to Delhi in 2009, where he pursued higher education at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It was during this time that he ventured into theater and modeling, gaining hands-on experience from 2010 to 2012. In 2020, Himanshu relocated to Mumbai to explore more opportunities for growth and expansion in the modeling and acting world.
Through his involvement in the industry, Himanshu became aware of the challenges aspiring models face, particularly the financial and knowledge barriers. This realization led him to create his own modeling agency, Model Makers, in 2013, with a mission to provide mentorship, training, and guidance to aspiring models. His agency helps individuals build their portfolios and navigate the complexities of the modeling world.
Since its inception, Model Makers has achieved incredible milestones, with Himanshu mentoring models and working alongside well-known personalities like Rannvijay Singha, Himanshi Khurana, Karan Kundrra, and many others. Himanshu’s role as a mentor extends beyond training; he has also been involved in casting for reality shows, web series, films, and advertisements, helping models and actors gain broader opportunities.
In 2020, Himanshu took another significant step by launching Fashion Grandeur, a beauty pageant designed to create new opportunities for emerging talents. The first successful show in Delhi with Mr. World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal was a big success! Though Himanshu moved to Mumbai, Model Makers continues to thrive in multiple cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, and Kolkata.
His story highlights how a deep understanding of the industry, coupled with a passion for mentorship, can open doors for countless aspiring models and actors, offering them the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
